Privacy policy for mirasearch.ai

1. Controller

2. Scope

This policy covers the websites mirasearch.ai and blog.mirasearch.ai. It does not cover data we process when we provide Mira Search AI to marketplaces: in that case we act as a processor on behalf of the marketplace, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), and the marketplace's privacy policy applies to its users.

3. What data we process

• Visit statistics, only with your consent. If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to count visits and see which pages are useful: pages visited, time on page, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store the IP addresses of visitors in the EU. Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off, and we do not use this data for advertising. If you click "Reject", Google Analytics does not load.
• Technical server data. Our hosting provider, Render Services, Inc. (USA), serves the sites through a global content delivery network and logs technical data needed to run and secure them (for example IP address and time of request) for a limited time.
• Data you send us. If you write to us (for example via "Tell us yours"), we process your name, email address, company and message.
• Call booking. "Let's talk" opens Google Calendar's booking page, an external service: data you enter there is also processed by that provider under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and any notes to organise the call.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Replying to you and organising the call: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Site security and operation: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Visit statistics with Google Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
• Legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not add you to a newsletter without your consent.

5. Retention

We keep messages and contact details for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a contract follows (then for the term of the contract and the periods required by law). Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically. Technical logs are kept only as long as strictly necessary.

6. Recipients

Data is processed by authorised Easely staff and by providers that help us run the sites and our communications, appointed as processors: hosting (Render Services, Inc., USA), email (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Ltd.), booking (Google Calendar, Google Ireland Ltd.), visit statistics (Google Analytics, Google Ireland Ltd.). We do not sell or share data with third parties.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data in the United States: Render Services, Inc. and Google LLC, the parent company of Google Ireland Ltd. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where needed, transfers also rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent at any time (Arts. 7 and 15-22 GDPR), by writing to support@mirasearch.ai. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
